Delivering quality at scale: Click Engineering’s positive experience partnering with SHAPE Homes

When it comes to delivering homes with a hands-on, personal touch, SHAPE Homes stands out as a unique player in the volume home-building industry according to Daniel Farchione, Director of Click Engineering.

“Working with SHAPE Homes is unlike working with most large home builders,” Daniel explains.

“They have this incredible ability to deliver high volume while maintaining an authentic and personal approach, which is rare in this industry.”

Click Engineering, specialists in soil testing and geotechnical surveying has been working closely with SHAPE Homes for about a year and a half. They previously collaborated on a housing community in Donnybrook and, more recently, on The Crescent in South Morang, where SHAPE Homes is set to deliver over 100 townhomes.

Speaking to their partnership dynamic, Daniel finds SHAPE Homes to be a breath of fresh air.

“With SHAPE Homes, I can call up anyone from the Head of Production & Head of Operations to team members on the ground, and they’ll always know the status of a project and be ready to answer questions. With other volume builders, it can sometimes feel like you’re a small part of a big machine, where communication becomes layered and slow-moving. Whereas the SHAPE Homes team is extremely hands-on and makes us feel more like a part of their family, which is something I love about working with them in this industry,” said Daniel, praising this direct approach that allows for quicker decisions, reduced project delays, and a clear understanding of project goals.

SHAPE Homes’ balance of scale and attention to detail have greatly assisted Click Engineering in best delivering their work to swiftly deliver townhomes for end purchasers.

“It’s one of the reasons we’re eager to keep working with them on future projects,” said Daniel.

Commending SHAPE Homes for their organised, hands-on, and dedicated approach to delivering high-quality houses, Daniel looks forward to completing the 113 townhomes at The Crescent, South Morang with engineering plans anticipated to commence before Christmas, followed by building permits early in the new year.
